After the Ultimate Reset, I was feeling brave so I decided to do Insanity. Insanity is a home work out system designed to challenge you. Insanity comes with the workouts, a meal plan with recipes and a wall calender with a workout schedule.
I am not going to lie to you, Insanity is HARD! I have cursed Shaun T. (the creator and instructor in the DVD) every time I do this workout. I am in the middle of month 2 so I am almost finished. I have skipped some days (more than I should have) but I am committed to finishing the program. So far I have lost 7 pounds. I am much stronger and I have a lot more stamina. I can actually run and I can see my arm muscles (which is really cool, for me at least). I will write a more in depth review when I do another round during my "Get It Right Summer Challenge". When I do it again, I will probably see better results because I will not skip any days and I will have a better understanding of what to eat while being a vegan. I was eating a lot of processed replacement meat products when I went vegan. Unfortunately, I was unaware of all the carbs that are in those products. I started to lose weight in the second month because I changed my diet to whole foods diet with almost no processed foods. Next time I do this, hopefully I will see better results with a better diet and less skipped workouts.
